Abu Dhabi, UAE (AHN) - With Jenson Button having already clinched the championship, the Formula One season finale was rather anticlimactic as Sebastian Vettel won Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Red Bull landed a one-two finish after Mark Webber took runner-up honors and the champion, Button, pushed Webber to the line for third.

Rubens Barrichello and Nick Heidfeld closed out the top-five finishers at the new Yas Marina circuit.

Defending series champion Lewis Hamilton led early and up to the first set of pit stops, but his race ended prematurely due to right-rear brake failure.

Kamui Kobayashi earned his first F1 points by placing sixth while filling in for injured Timo Glock.

On the final lap, Button pushed Webber for second and got side-by-side with Webber but couldn't make the pass.
