Orlando, FL (AHN) - Brett Hodges delivered a one-yard touchdown pass to Rocky Ross with 23 seconds left to lift the UCF Knights to a 21-20 victory over the Marshall Thundering Herd Sunday night.

Hodges finished 23-for-45 for 342 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. The late score capped a two-touchdown fourth-quarter rally.

Marshall had built a 20-7 lead on a touchdown pass from Brian Anderson and a score from running back Darius Marshall.

Brynn Harvey scored on a 2-yard burst with 7:51 left to cut it to 20-14. An Anderson fumble gave the Knights the chance they needed, and they capitalized with Hodges last-second TD pass.

Marshall dropped to 5-4, 3-2 in Conference USA. The win allowed Central Florida to tie Marshall for second in the East Division, 3-2 in C-USA and 5-3 overall.
