Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Stories like "The Frog Prince" and "The Little Mermaid" are getting the soap star treatment thanks to Speakaboos, the website with digital content for kids including audio stories, activities, and games. The website scored the stars of ABC's "General Hospital" to provide their voice talents to some storybook favorites.

Kids likely have never heard of "General Hospital," but there's sure to be some parents who'll want to check out star Greg Vaughn performing readings of "Frankenstein" and "Billy and the Brown-Out," or Rebecca Herbst taking on "The Wise Little Girl" and "Bluebeard." Kelly Monaco and Jason Thompson together read "The Little Mermaid" and "The Frog Prince."

"The cast of ABC's 'General Hospital' brought daytime drama flair to our beloved children's stories and fairytales to really give them new life," said associate publisher of Speakaboos, Noelle Millholt. "We think this album will be a special treat for the Speakaboos audience."

The "General Hospital" stars join other TV personalities like Kelly Ripa, John Krasinski, and Nick Cannon who have lent their voice to Speakaboos, who already have over 75 stories available for download. The stories can be viewed online for free or downloaded for $.99, with 15% of proceeds benefitting children's charities.
