Cologne, Germany (CNS) - Emmy Award-winning series "30 Rock" has scored a record low rating of 0.0 during its German television debut, which means fewer than 5,000 viewers tuned in.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy show's debut was below even the lowest forecasts of the broadcaster ZDFNeo.

The network made the series its flagship in its new re-launch, vowing to air more cutting-edge programming for a younger demographic. However, the premiere telecast of the show was a rating disaster on Sunday.

"30 Rock" - starring Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer among others - received 22 primetime Emmy Award nominations and won 5 this year, including Best Comedy Series and Best Actor for Baldwin.
