Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Dean Cain has starred in films like "The Christmas Wedding" and "The Dog Who Saved Christmas," and now he's starring in another holiday feature for the Hallmark Channel. Part of the network's Holiday Countdown, Cain stars in "The Three Gifts," premiering December 19th.

In the film, Cain stars as wooden toy shop owner Jack, who takes in three orphans when his aunt's orphanage is shut down for renovations right before the holidays. The boys aren't so well-behaved until they learn that Jack and his wife are thinking about adopting one.

Suddenly, the boys try to change their troublemaking ways in hopes of making their wish of a permanent home come true. The film also stars Jean Louisa Kelly ("Yes Dear"), Mimi Kennedy ("Dharma & Greg"), and "Family Matters" star Reginald Vel Johnson.

"The Three Gifts" is the last of four original movies premiering during their holiday countdown. Also premiering are "The National Tree," with Andrew McCarthy, "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" with James Van Der Beek and Doris Roberts, and "Christmas in Canaan" starring Billy Ray Cyrus.
