Philadelphia, PA (AHN) - Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook, who sat out Sunday's game against the Giants due to a concussion suffered in week 7, returned to practice Wednesday.
The oft-injured back is reportedly "good to go" for another NFC East showdown against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, according to head coach Andy Reid.
Reid, who reportedly believes Westbrook's concussion was "a freak thing", indicated that the 30-year-old back should play Sunday barring any setbacks in his recovery.
Westbrook, who also sat out Week 3 because of an ankle injury, practiced fully Wednesday and is expected to participate in all practices this week.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Kevin Curtis, who did not practice Wednesday due to knee problem, has been ruled out of the Dallas encounter.
Other Cowboys who did not practice because of injuries include: strongside linebacker Chris Gocong (quad and (hamstring), DE Chris Clemons (shoulder), DE Victor Abiamiri (knee) and DT Brodrick Bunkley (knee).
