Denver, CO (AHN) - Cornerback Ty Law will return to the NFL. According to ESPN.com, the Denver Broncos signed Law to a one-year deal Friday. Pending a physical, Law could join the Broncos to add depth to the secondary.

Law spent 10 seasons with the New England Patriots, where he began his playing career in 1995.

He later signed with the New York Jets in 2005 and spent the 2006-2007 with the Kansas City Chiefs before returning to the Jets again in 2008.

Law signed a one-year contract worth $800,000 that included a $200,000 signing bonus.

If Law clears his physical, he will join the Denver Broncos (6-1) as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) in a Monday Night Football clash.

Law has 52 career interceptions.
