Ruston, LA (AHN) - Kellen Moore amassed 354 yards and three scores to lead the No.5 Boise State Broncos to a 45-35 win over the unranked Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 45-35 Friday night.

Tech's Ross Jenkins connected with Dennis Morris in the fourth to make it 30-28 Broncos. Boise State (9-0, 4-0 WAC) gave up 28 points in the second half for the first time this season.

But the Broncos' defense was able to bottle up the rally late for the win.

Moore's strike to Austin Pettis for a 12-yard scoring hookup made it 38-28 Broncos.

Later, Jeremy Avery rushed for 43 yards for a score to make it 45-28.

Avery finished with 146 yards rushing.

Tech scored their last touchdown on Myke Compton's one-yard run with 2:49 left in regulation.

The Bulldogs, who fell 3-6 this season, were led by Daniel Porter.

Porter on 24 carries, rushed 92 yards with a score.
