Two Britons Win $149 Million Lottery Jackpot

London, U.K. (AHN) - Two Britons won the largest lottery jackpot in the U.K. when their EuroMillion tickets matched the winning number for the £90 million ($149 million) prize drawn on Friday.

The winners, who have yet to claim the prize, hit the winning numbers 19, 43, 45, 34 and 11 with 5 and 9 as the Lucky Star numbers. They will each take home £45.6 million or $75.7 million.

The previous largest lottery jackpot winner was Glasgow postal worker Angela Kelly. She won £35.4 million or $58.8 million in August 2007.
