AHN Blowout Alert: No. 2 Texas Routs Central Florida

Austin, TX (AHN) - Colt McCoy tossed a pair of second half touchdown passes, powering No. 2 Texas to a 35-3 win over Central Florida Saturday. Cody Johnson had two TD runs for the Longhorns, who rolled off 35 straight points.

McCoy connected with James Kirkendoll on a 14-yard scoring strike and found Jordan Shipley on an 88-yard TD pass play.

Cody Johnson had two TD runs for the Longhorns, who trailed 3-0 early in the second quarter.

Johnson's scoring runs covered 20 and 13 yards.

Texas came into the tilt 9-0, while Central Florida fell to 5-4.
