The Las Vegas native led 179 of 200 laps en route to winning Saturday's O'Reilly Challenge Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Busch, who won Friday night's Camping World Truck Series event at Texas, is now hoping to pull off the rare trifecta by winning Sunday's Dickies 500 Sprint Cup Series race. By winning his eighth Nationwide event of the season, and second in the last three races, Busch extended his points lead to 272 over former Nationwide champion Carl Edwards and appears well on his way to the Nationwide title with just two races remaining. Two races remain at Phoenix and Homestead-Miami before Busch should be able to host the first major NASCAR championship trophy of his career. Coming across the line in order behind Busch Saturday was Casey Mears, Jason Leffler, Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Brian Vickers, David Ragan, Edwards and Mike Bliss.
