South Bend, IN (AHN) - Notre Dame turned the ball over three times Saturday, part of the reason the Irish fell to Navy 23-21.

Ricky Dobbs passed and ran for a score for the Midshipmen, hitting paydirt on a one-yard run and connecting with Greg Jones on a 52-yard TD pass.

Vince Murray added a 25-yard touchdown run for Navy.

Notre Dame's first score came on Robert Hughes' one-yard TD run in the third quarter.

The Irish had a furious comeback in the final period, as Jimmy Clausen tossed TD passes to Golden Tate and Michael Floyd.

Clausen passed for over 300 yards for the Irish, but suffered a pick off the back of a wideout in the fourth quarter.
