Nuggets Drop Second Straight After 5-0 Start; Hawks Drop Denver

Atlanta, GA (AHN) - Josh Smith and Joe Johnson scored 22 points apiece as the Atlanta Hawks pounded the recently unbeaten Denver Nuggets 125-100 Saturday.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to lead Atlanta with 25 points.

He was 8-of-15 shooting and 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

Atlanta's Al Horford had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the only double-double of the game.

Denver's Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 30 points. Chauncey Billups added 27.

The Nuggets have lost two straight after starting 5-0. The Miami Heat beat the Nuggets Friday night
