Philadelphia, PA (AHN) - Home ice works for the Philadelphia Flyers, especially if they play the St. Louis Blues. Mika Pyorala scored a shootout goal to lift the Flyers to a 2-1 victory over the Blues Saturday.

The Flyers continued their home-winning streak against St. Louis, who have not won in Philly since Dec. 7, 2002.

Flyer's Scott Hartnell scored during the second period on a power-play goal from Claude Giroux's and Chris Pronger's feed for the 1-0 lead.

Pronger is having a solid start, with 14 points for the season.

The defenseman entered the contest with a goal and five points in his last three games.

The Blues (5-7-2), who have dropped four straight, knotted the game in the third at 5:43 when T.J. Oshie connected on Roman Polak's pass to defeat Flyers' Ray Emery.

Emery had 30 saves on the night.

The Flyers (9-4-1) picked up their fourth consecutive win and improved to 83-39-17 against the Blues.

Chris Mason had 35 saves for St. Louis.
