Vail, CO (AHN) - One man was killed and three others were wounded in a Colorado bar by a patron who was being removed from the establishment by bar staff, according to local media reports.

Witnesses told police and reporters that 63-year-old Richard Moreau was being taken out of the Sandbar in Vail, Colo. when he opened fire. The Vail Daily News reports that it is not clear if the victims, who police have not identified, were employees or patrons of the bar.

Two of the wounded survivors were operated on at a local hospital Saturday night, and one victim was released from the hospital.

Moreau was found inside the bar by police and taken into custody. The wounded victims were found outside the Sandbar, and the dead man was found inside with Moreau.

Witnesses said Moreau was almost outside the door when he brandished his gun. The Denver Post reports that witnesses said about 10 shots were heard.
