Bestselling Author Sam Haskell Tapped As Guest Speaker In Chicago

Topics: Lifestyle and ArtsChicago, IL (CNS) - Sam Haskell, former Worldwide Head of Television for the William Morris Agency - which houses creators, producers, and writers of hit shows such as "Lost" and "The Office" - is set to speak at the Elgin Rotary Club in Chicago on November 9.

He will also be one of the three authors tapped to speak at the "Books & Brunch" hosted by the assistance League of Chicagoland West at The Abbington in Glen Ellyn on November 10.
Haskell was named one of the 25 Most Innovative and Influential People in Television over the last quarter century by TV Week.
He is recognized as the "nice guy in Hollywood," relying upon honesty, self-reliance, and his mother's teachings as his secrets to his success in the industry. He credits his mother in the memoir "Promises I Made My Mother," published by Random House this year.
Haskell is currently the chairman of the Miss America Organization.
