Quiksilver To Celebrate 40th Anniversary At The Grand Palais

Huntington Beach, CA (CNS) - Quiksilver is celebrating its 40th anniversary with two days of skateboarding, music, art and fashion at the Grand Palais in Paris on November 20 and 21. The event will culminate with The Quiksilver Tony Hawk Show, followed by a concert.

The event will bring together Quiksilver athletes, including Kelly Slater, Todd Richards, Travis Rice, Danny Garcia, Alex Olson, Jeremy Flores, Mathieu Crepel, Robby Naish, Kassia Meador, Lisa Andersen and Torah Bright.

Aside from the skating part, the celebration will also include exhibition areas for art, music, and cultural events, with graffiti artist Andre transforming giant ramps into unique art. Quiksilver has assembled a 40-year fashion retrospective inside the venue as well.

The second and last day will be concluded with a concert from Dead By Sunrise and a late night with DJ Mix Master Mike.

Entrance is free for the daytime events, while the Saturday night performance costs 40 euros [$67].
