"Up," from director Pete Docter who also helmed "Monsters, Inc.," is one of the best-reviewed films of the year, scoring a whopping 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which averages critics' reviews (and with 10 Best Picture nominees this year, could maybe even score an Oscar nom). The film, about an elderly man who finally sets out on his lifelong adventure, grossed over $290 million at the box office domestically, making it the highest-grossing Pixar film since "Finding Nemo."
The "Up" Blu-ray combo pack includes the Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy of the movie. Special features include picture-in-picture commentary, an all-new animated short "Dug's Special Mission," the "Partly Cloudy" short as shown in theaters, production featurettes, a game, and trailers.
"Monsters, Inc." has spawned theme park attractions and possibly a sequel in the near future, and remains one of the best-loved titles in Pixar's already illustrious collection. The "Monsters, Inc." Blu-ray combo pack includes the Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy of the movie as well. It also includes a director's commentary, the shorts "Mike's New Car" and "For the Birds," a look at the new attraction in Tokyo Disneyland, making-of featurettes and more.
