Murray is said to be planning to sue Jackson's concert promoter for unpaid services, claiming he is entitled to the money under a contract he signed with AEG.
However, TMZ sources said that while a contract was drafted, it required three signatures: AEG, Jackson, and Murray. Only Murray allegedly signed the contract and sent it to the company, but neither AEG nor the "Thriller" hitmaker ever signed it.
The insiders added that AEG is adamant it will not pay the doctor a single penny.
Meanwhile, Janet Jackson has hit out at Murray, blaming him for her brother's death.
In an interview with ABC, she said, "He was the one administering, I think he is responsible."
She added that she hoped Murray would never be allowed to practice medicine again.
