Nicole Richie Taken To The Hospital For Pneumonia

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Nicole Richie has been admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. The "Simple Life" star has checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old has been feeling under the weather for more than a week now. She was not feeling well when she attended a court hearing to request for a permanent restraining order against two paparazzi on Monday.

She was also too ill to attend the launch of her own House of Harlow jewelry line at Bebe last week.

She wrote on her Twitter account on Sunday, "ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving. [sic]"

Her rep told eonline.com that she is doing well after checking into the medical center.
