The "Inglourious Basterds" star was said to have declined an invitation to the Grand Prix Ball Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on October 31. His guest appearance would have been worth $5 million.
However, instead of collecting the staggering amount, he chose to stay in Los Angeles and go trick-or-treating with his children - Maddox (8), Pax (5), Zahara (4), and Shiloh (3) - with partner Angelina Jolie on the same day. He dressed as DJ Lance Rock from the Nick Jr. kids' show "Yo Gabba Gabba!"
A rep for Global Event Management, James Magee, confirmed to Life & Style that the Hollywood dad was expected at the event, "but he was a no-show, and nobody seemed to know why."
The affair aimed to raise money for the clean-water charity Fresh2o. It was the finale of a three-day event celebrating Formula One racing.
Pitt and Jolie also have twin babies, Knox and Vivienne, who are 1-year-old.
