Topics: MusicLondon, England (CNS) - Elton John's U.K. shows will not be rescheduled. The music great has been forced to cancel four British shows and a Dublin concert following their postponement.

Last month, it was announced that John would be postponing his shows because of ill health. He was admitted to the hospital following an E.coli bacterial infection.
His other shows have now been given new date schedules, but unfortunately, his gigs in the Sheffield Arena, Newcastle Metro Radio Arena, London Wembley Arena, and Liverpool Echo Arena have not been rescheduled.
The 62-year-old singer's management said that due to the availability of the venues in all of the four cities, the Red Piano tour shows have now totally been abandoned.
His Dublin, Ireland show has also been canceled and won't be rescheduled anymore.
Ticketholders will be fully refunded.
His only U.K. performance in 2010 will be a concert in aid of Watford Football Club on May 29, 2010.
