Florida crushed Florida International 62-3, while 'Bama blasted Chattanooga 45-0.
Tim Tebow passed and rushed for a score in the opening half, throwing for 177 yards and running for another 102, including a 55 yard scoring romp.
Jeffrey Demps and Chris Rainey also had scoring runs for the Gators, who racked up 30 first downs to just 11 for FIU.
Brandon Spikes had Florida's first score, picking off a pass and returning it 42 yards for a touchdown.
Florida outgained FIU 587-189, and backup quarterback John Brantley passed for three scores in the second half.
Mark Ingram rushed for 102 yards and a pair of scores in the opening half, while Trent Richardson tacked on a score for 'Bama.
Ingram sat the second half, allowing 'Bama's other backs to get involved.
Richardson had 49 yards on seven carries, and finished with 60 yards on the ground.
Quarterback Greg McElroy also hit Julio Jones on a 16-yard touchdown.
Chattanooga was outgained 239 yards to 68 in the opening half and had a pair of passes picked off.
