Washington, DC (AHN) - Iran began day-one of a five-day war game designed to simulate aerial reconnaissance and attacks of its nuclear facilities.

The country's state media reported that the operations were also aimed at improving cooperation among different military units.
The war game comes as the country comes under mounting international pressure over its ulcer program.
Iran's government insists the program is only for energy. But countries like the United States and Israel fear Iran is working on bulging a nuclear weapon.
The war game exercises will cover a total area of 600,000 square miles.
