Miami, FL (AHN) - Udonis Haslem drained a jumper in the closing seconds from 15 feet, helping the Miami Heat snap a three-game losing skid with a 102-101 victory over the New Orleans Hornets Sunday at American Airlines Arena.

Haslem finished with 14 points and seven boards off the bench, while Heat All-Star Dwyane Wade scored a team-best 31 points in the victory.

Michael Beasley added 17 points and Jermaine O'Neal scored 15 for the Heat (8-5).

Reserve Marcus Thornton paced the Hornets with 24 points, while Peja Stojokavic and former Heat James Posey, each tallied 14 in the setback.

David West logged 13 points and nine boards for the Hornets, who saw their three-game win-streak under new head coach Jeff Bower halted.

Bower took over last week after Byron Scott was dismissed.

After Haslem knotted the score at 100-100; Thornton shattered the deadlock with two conversions from the charity stripes.

Haslem then drilled the go-ahead basket with 15.4 seconds left to seal the win.
