Heidi Klum Now Officially Known As Heidi Samuel

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Heidi Klum is now officially Heidi Samuel. The German supermodel's request to legally change her name to her husband's surname has been approved Friday.

The 36-year-old catwalk beauty - who raises four children with the English singer - officially adopted the surname of her husband, whose real name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel.

She cited marriage as the reason for filing.

Her rep did not comment when asked by People magazine if she intends to be known professionally as Heidi Samuel as well.

Heidi and Seal were married in May 2005.

She has a child with ex-boyfriend Flavio Briatore, who she raises with Seal together with their three other kids. Heidi gave birth to her fourth child last month.
