Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Candy Spelling has settled the lawsuit a former maid filed against her. Mega producer Aaron Spelling's widow settled the wrongful termination suit she was accused of by Lourdes Serrano.

The former employee sued Spelling in April, alleging Tori Spelling's estranged mother fired her for complaining about being overworked and underpaid.

According to the suit, Candy forced her to "clock out" for her twice daily 10-minute breaks instead of paying her for the downtime as stated in California's state law. She was asking for punitive damages.

Candy also filed papers of her own, refuting Serrano's claims. She also wants to get paid for the "frivolous" filing.

But according to TMZ, the case was settled last week. The terms of the settlement are confidential, although a source said the maid was paid an undisclosed amount.
