Topics: Sports, MLBBoston, MA (AHN) - The Red Sox have been busy this offseason, and look to get even busier, turning on all six cylinders to recruit Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay.

An unnamed source told the New York Daily News that the Red Sox expect to have a Halladay signing wrapped up by the start of winter meetings.
Halladay went 17-10 on the season, with an ERA of 2.79, despite the Blue Jays finishing with an underwhelming 75-87 record.
A 12-year veteran of the league, Halladay has requested a trade to play for a more competitive club.
The Blue Jays won back to back World Series in 1992 and 1993, but have not made a serious move toward challenging in the AL East in recent years.
It's expected that the Angels and the Yankees will also court Halladay.
If nothing else, the 'Evil Empire' in the Bronx would want to drive the price up the Red Sox would pay for the premium pitcher.
Happy Halladay, indeed!
