Auburn Hills, Mi. (AHN) - LeBron James had 15 points and Daniel Gibson added 13 to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a commanding 60-42 halftime lead Wednesday night over the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

James scored 12 points in the first quarter, including two free throws with 42 seconds to play to give the Cavs a 28-19 lead.

Mo Williams connected on a three-pointer for a 58-40 advantage late in the half.

Jamario Moon's slam dunk at the buzzer, with a feed from James, ended the half. The Cavs were a scorching 22-of-36 from the floor.

Ben Gordon had nine points for Detroit.

Cleveland entered the game at 10-4. The Pistons, who have lost five straight, are 5-9.

Because of injuries, the Pistons are still without guards Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince and the Cavs are minus Shaquille O'Neal.
