Addison, IL (AHN) - Four people were found dead in a suburban community west of Chicago a day before Thanksgiving. The deaths are believed to be a murder-suicide.

According to WBBM, the body of a woman, two young boys and a man were found in a home in Addison by police responding to a 911 call by a woman, who is believed to be the same one found dead. The cause of the deaths remains unconfirmed but shell casings were found inside the residence.

The victims have not been identified by police, but are said to members of the same family, described in local reports as a never having been associated with any kind of trouble. The Chicago Tribune identifies the man as Thomas Mangiantini, the father of the two boys, and an outdoorsman who coached youth baseball for the Addison Recreation Club.

The Chicago Sun-Times says the mother, Elizabeth Mangiantini, had been laid off this spring from her work at a car plant but put up Christmas decorations outside their home the day before she died.

Police have said the crime was an isolated incident.
