Baltimore, MD (AHN) - The 33-year-old superstar Lindsey Davenport will be heading to Baltimore after Thanksgiving to play in the Baltimore Community Foundation Tennis Challenge.

The semi-retired future Hall of Famer enjoyed a number one ranking at the end of a season four times throughout her successful career.

The BCF Tennis Challenge is one of the longest running annual charity Tennis events in the world, and will be hosted by the 1st Mariner Arena on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.

Founded in 1986 on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, its first champion was the prestigious Martina Navratilova.

Now a mother of two, Davenport has not participated in any tournaments in 2009.

She was expected to play in this year's Australian Open, but the expectation of her second child caused her to withdraw.
