Hornaday Wins Truck Title By 187 Points

Topics: Auto RacingDaytona Beach, FL (AHN) - NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday Jr. wrapped up his fourth Truck title a week early and in the season finale at Homestead-Miami scored the owners championship, finishing with a 187-point finale margin over Matt Crafton.

With the title in his pocket, Hornaday saw this points lead trimmed from 215 to 187 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but that didn't quell the celebration.
California natives finished atop the points standings as Hornaday finished with 3,959 points and was trailed by Crafton (3,772), Mike Skinner (3,602), Todd Bodine (3,432), Colin Braun (3,338), Johnny Sauter (3,331), Brian Scott (3,307), Timothy Peters (3,289), David Starr (3,271) and Rick Crawford (3,161).
Stacy Compton (3,124), Tayler Malsam (3,026), Terry Cook (2,890), James Buescher (2,884), T.J. Bell (2,767), Jason White (2,733), Kyle Busch (2,583), Dennis Setzer (2,483), Chad McCumbee (2,410) and Aric Almirola (2,301) round out the top-20.
In positions 21st through 29th are: Norm Benning (2,097), Ricky Carmichael (1,978), Brandon Knupp (1,345), Brian Ickler (1,340), Mario Gosselin (1,324), Nick Tucker (1,138), J.R. Fitzpatrick (1,137), Kevin Harvick (1,085) and Wayne Edwards (1,067).
In positions 30th through 35th are: Ryan Sieg (1,065), Brent Raymer (1,051), Johnny Benson Jr. (1,047), Chris Fontaine (1,045) and Max Papis (958).
