Wyoming Tops Pepperdine In Overtime At World Vision Tourney

Laramie, WY (AHN) - A.J. Davis had 20 points, two boards and four steals, as the Wyoming Cowboys topped the Pepperdine Waves with an 86-82 overtime victory Sunday

The tilt held at Arena Auditorium in Laramie was part of the World Vision Basketball Challenge.

Thomas Manzano and Adam Waddell each tallied 15 points for the Cowboys, who moved to 3-4.

Wyoming raced to a 36-31 advantage at the break and started to break away in the second half

But the Waves would not go easy and forced an extra session following a clutch 3-pointer from Joshua Lowery.

Keion Bell, named as the tournament's MVP, turned in 28 points to lead Pepperdine (3-4).

The regulation period ended with a 79-79 score.
