Seal To Officially Adopt Wife Heidi Klum's Daughter

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Seal is set to adopt wife Heidi Klum's daughter. Leni, 5, is the supermodel's child with ex-boyfriend Flavio Briatore, but the British singer has been her father since the day she was born.

According to German paper BILD, Klum's lawyers got in touch with Briatore, who agreed to the adoption.

The catwalk beauty and the Formula One boss dated in 2003, but split during Klum's pregnancy. Seal started dating her three months prior to Leni's birth in May 2004. Seal has been Leni's father ever since.

The couple - who has three other children together: Henry (4), Johan (3), and newborn daughter Lou Sulola - apparently want to make everything official now. Seal is said to be adopting the girl as his own child.

If that happens, the whole family will now carry Seal's surname. Klum recently officially adopted Samuel as her legal surname.
