Report: Chelsea Clinton Engaged

Washignton, D.C. (AHN) - The only child of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton announced her engagement over the Thanksgiving weekend.

According to ABC, Chelsea Clinton is engaged to Marc Mezvinsky, the son of former Iowa Rep. Ed Mezvinsky and former Pennsylvania Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy.

The 29 year-old Clinton and Mezvinsky  both attended Stanford University. They were reported over the summer to have married on Martha's Vineyard around the same time President Barack Obama took a week-long vacation in the popular Cape Cod island.

Clinton served as campaign surrogate a for her mother in last year's presidential race. Early in the primary season, she was at the center of a controversial remark by an NBC correspondent about how she was "being pimped out" by her family to campaign.
