Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Kate Hudson and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez have split. The "Bride Wars" star and the New York Yankees slugger have reportedly ended their months-long relationship.

The couple began dating this past May. Hudson, 30, was seen cheering the player, 34, at numerous games. She also helped him celebrate when the Yankees won their 27th World Series this November.

However, just days after Hudson answered coyly to David Letterman's question about A-Rod during her "Late Show" appearance, rumors surface saying the two have called it quits.

An alleged Hudson pal confirms the news to usmagazine.com.

A solo A-Rod was reportedly spotted attending an Armani Exchange party on Saturday, where he was apparently being flirty with one of the female guests.
