Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) - Kobe Bryant remains questionable for the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday's clash against the Utah Jazz, and the superstar guard might even sit out the NBA All-Star game as the deals with ankle woes.

The Lakers All-Star guard sat out his second straight Monday due to a sprained left knee.

It marked the first missed games in nearly three years for Bryant, who recently became the Lakers' all-time leading scorer.

Bryant is listed as day-to-day and reportedly indicated that he could not push off on the affected ankle.

It might be an indication the Lakers superstar will not see much action in the Midseason Classic.

Injuries have already plagued the roster of this year's All-Star Game edition with Bryant, Paul Pierce and Carmelo Anthony remaining question marks.

Brandon Roy, who was supposed to be making his third All-Star appearance, already pulled out of the event due to a hamstring injury.

Despite the absence of Bryant, along with injured starting center Andrew Bynum, the defending NBA champion Lakers toppled Portland Saturday and humbled a healthy San Antonio team Monday, 101-89.

The Lakers will aim to carry the momentum when they take on the streaking Jazz, who are shooting for their ninth consecutive win Tuesday against the Clippers.
