Bank of America Settles With SEC, However Attorney General Not Satisfied - Suing BankBank of America on Thursday announced that it has settled a regulatory complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in several cases filed by the SEC related to the Merrill Lynch merger. However, on the heels of this settlement New York's Attorney general is accusing the bank and two of its top officials of securities fraud related to the same merger.
