Power set a two-lap track qualifying record of 219.283 mph at the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway.

9/18/2011 Scott Dixon wins IZOD IndyCar race in JapanScott Dixon completed the perfecta when he held off Will Power on a late-race restart to win the Indy Japan IZOD IndyCar Series race Sunday at Twin Ring Motegi. Dixon won by 3.4 seconds and tallied his 27th career Indy car victory.
