Resilient Lynx finish off Dream with sweep, capture first WNBA titleDespite trailing every game at halftime and getting a late scare from Atlanta star Angel McCoughtry in the first two games of the championship series, the Minnesota Lynx refused to be rattled and finished off a 3-0 sweep of the Dream 73-67 Friday night at Philips Arena.

Fever lose Catchings to injury, Game 2 to Fever in WNBA playoffsIziane Castro Marques got her chance and made the most of it for the Atlanta Dream. Inserted into the starting lineup for Sunday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals, Castro Marques responded with a season-high 30 points as the Dream beat the Indiana Fever 94-77 to even the series 1-1.
