Unemployment claims fall to near four-year lowInitial unemployment claims fell by 15,000 to 359,000 during the latest week, a level near the four-year low hit in January, the Labor Department reported Thursday. The number was better than economists' expectations for 370,000, down from the prior week's 373,000.

The less volatile four-week moving average was 375,750, down by 2,000 from the previous week's revised average of 377,750.
