Netherlands seal sanctuary swamped with orphaned seal pupsA seal sanctuary in the Netherlands has been overwhelmed with hundreds of seals that have washed ashore due to storms and disease. Most of the 360 seals are orphaned pups, apparently separated from their mothers in heavy seas off the Dutch north coast.

FAA says ultralight pilots can resume flights with whooping cranesThe interrupted migration of a group of whooping cranes may continue to its destination at a wildlife preserve in Florida.
